Mundelein High School Football Program
Mundelein High School has had a football team since the school's opening in 1961. The team competed in the Tri-County Conference until 1972, moving to the North Suburban conference, where they still play today. The program has been historically unsucessful, losing twice as many games as wins, having no playoff wins, and having six winless seasons. Mundelein has lost 42 straight games to Warren, not beating them since 1973. The following is a table of the program's season history, taking data from 1. IHSA (1993-2023), 2. Newspapers, 3. Yearbooks (which have conflicting information with the newspaper recorded results).

Professional players
According to Pro football reference, Sean McNanie is the only Mustang to play in the National Football League. He was selected 79th overrall in the 1984 draft by the Buffalo Bills, where he would play for four years, and would spend a year with the Cardinals and Colts in that order. He recorded a fumble six in a 7-13 loss to the New England Patriots on December 20, 1987. At some point I would like to write more about him.
